• Food descriptions you type or dictate

• Food photos you take with the camera or select from your photo library

• Profile data: body weight, height, age, biological sex (entered manually or synced from Apple Health)

Information collected automatically:

• Daily calorie and nutrition logs stored locally on your device

• Number of AI scans used per day (stored locally, resets at midnight)

• App subscription status (managed by Apple)

Information from Apple Health (only if you grant permission):

• Body metrics: weight, height, age, biological sex

• Activity data: active and basal calorie burn

• Nutrition data written back to Apple Health after you log a meal

2. How We Use Your Information

We use food photos and meal text descriptions you submit to analyse their nutritional content via the Google Gemini AI service.
